That's our company's mantra, and for good reason. The goal of foundational dentistry is to address the common causes of broken teeth, jaw pain, and unnecessary dental work. By properly reviewing these issues, we can find solutions and prevent problems from arising in the first place. Traditional practices often overlook these issues, leading to more dental work, higher costs, and greater discomfort.

When smiles are designed to function well, they also look amazing! The way they work, feel, and look all go hand in hand. When smiles look great and function perfectly, they feel great and last a lifetime. They also require fewer dental "fixes" along the way since the underlying causes are addressed before they become problems.

What do you do if you want to change the dental experience? The first thing I felt to be necessary was to change the “frame” of the experience by designing a dental office that didn’t “feel” like a dental office.
That entailed the right location, which we found in downtown BA, right in the heart of the rose district. We built out a smaller office with open wood ceilings, brick walls, and located right between restaurants and shops which right from the beginning felt different for patients.
When I first saw the space and told the landlord what I planned to do with it, he said “I can’t imagine a dental office here.” That’s how I knew it was perfect.
Starting with 3 team members, two of which are still with us today, we began our efforts to improve your experience.
As we grew to where we are today in our larger more modern facility, we added technology, team members, and most importantly, furthered our dental expertise. We now offer more services and ways to improve our patient’s lives than your typically ever find in a traditional practice.
We love to answer the “why” behind dentistry with you. And being a non-traditionalist, I continue to ask “why”. From the way a practice is commonly designed to the reasons for premature tooth wear and unnecessary suffering... we continue to push the limits of our understanding and our capacity to provide answers and amazing dentistry to those we get to serve.
